Patient Information

Telephone Calls, Prescriptions, & Emergencies
The office staff will be able to answer most nonmedical and medical questions. Many telephone calls and questions can be avoided by bringing a member of the family with you for the consultation or office visit.
Questions which cannot be dealt with by the office personnel will be communicated to the doctor. If he is unavailable at the time, he will call you back as soon as possible. Be sure to leave your telephone number and the best time to call.

For general medical problems, always call your primary care/family physician first. For problems specifically related to treatment provided by Dr. Kingsley, please call us at 484-7600. In case of a true emergency, it is best to go directly to a hospital emergency department or call 911. The Emergency Room staff will contact the appropriate physician as needed.

Prescription refills are provided only during office hours when records are available for review. For prescription refills, please call your pharmacy first. It is our policy not to refill any medicine prescribed by another physician.
Fees and Insurance
Please feel free to discuss our fees and payment arrangement with the office staff. It is our intent to keep our charges as reasonable as possible. Our fees are comparable to those of other competent, highly qualified, board certified surgical specialists. Due to the high cost of billing and collecting, you are requested to pay for medical services at the time of your visit. For larger bills, such as for hospitalization, major procedures, or operations, you will receive a monthly statement. If you have difficulty paying your bill, please let us know. We are willing to work out a payment schedule with you.
For additional Insurance Information, please see additional information on this site.
Hospitals
Dr. Kingsley maintains admitting privileges and practices at BryanLGH East and West and at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center and the Nebraska Surgery Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. If you have a hospital preference, please indicate it to our staff.
Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. Emergencies are always given priority. When making an appointment, please describe your problem to our staff so that they may schedule you appropriately. Our staff is instructed to inquire about medical problems for effective scheduling.
We request that you be on time for your appointment. If it becomes necessary to cancel your appointment, please call as far in advance as possible as a courtesy to other patients.
Office Hours
Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and until 3:00 p.m. on Fridays. After-hours, weekend and holiday calls may be left on voice mail. Please leave your name, telephone number and brief message on the voice mail. The doctor will call you back as soon as possible. Occasionally, Dr. Kingsley may be out of town, in which case another qualified surgeon will be available to cover the practice.
It is always preferable that you call us during office hours when we have access to your medical record.
